Gardone, the living room of the Riviera
Gardone Riviera is an elegant town located in a favourable climatic position of the western Riviera and is part of “The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy”.
Remarkable is the variety of exotic vegetation: cedars, magnolias, camphors, palm trees, which make Gardone a “city – garden”, known internationally. Villas and hotels, immersed in the vast parks along the coast, preserve the original characteristics of the Art Nouveau style of the late nineteenth century.
Holiday place since the nineteenth century, it is famous above all for having been the residence of Gabriele D’Annunzio from 1921 until his death.
